Alameda Power & Telecom Public Access Channel 31 is Moving

ALAMEDA, Calif., April 3, 2006 - Alameda Power & Telecom will begin relocating its Channel 31 broadcasting facilities on April 6.

In order to complete the move, Channel 31 will be taken "off the air" from Thursday, April 6, through Sunday, April 9. The regular program schedule is expected to resume the following week.

Should it not be possible to complete work by Monday the 10th, Alameda Power & Telecom will ask for the patience of its customers while it completes the effort. Alameda Cable TV subscribers should check the Alameda TV website (www.alamedatv.org) for updates on the station's availability.

Public Access Channel 31 provides locally focused cable television public programming produced or sponsored by Alameda residents and organizations, as well as one-of-a-kind community programming produced by Channel 31 staff.
