Downwind Mourning

In this locally produced Independent Film, it's the 1990s and a cowboy actor returns to the Utah desert, where movies were once filmed and Atomic Bombs tested. Along with the locals, he confronts his own past, present and future.

Cinema Alameda

All films do not come from Hollywood.

All films are not big budget extravaganzas.

All films do not have objects and people blown to kingdom come.

Breakthroughs in technology and economics of film have resulted in more cinematic activity than ever before. Independent film production is at a passionate peak and Cinema Alameda presents a venue for film-makers to showcase their individual cinematic visions. Each week you'll get a chance to see what the commercial movie world has missed.
