What is Talkin' Baseball about? Pretty simply it's about stories. Each program gets at personal stories from the point of view of the fans and the players. But Talkin' Baseball also goes where the mass media doesn't go, searching out stories from those folks who work in the background of the sport - the trainers, the publicists, the groundskeepers, the stadium vendors.

Who is Jerry Feitelberg and why is he talkin' about baseball? There's a simple answer to that, too.

A long time resident of Alameda, Jerry has loved baseball for a whole lotta years. As a kid growing up in Boston, he followed both the Red Sox and the Boston Braves and went to as many games as possible. He listened to baseball on the radio, played it in the streets, studied it in books, watched the games at legendary Fenway Park.

And now he gets to talk about it on TV.
