Get a Laugh, Alameda!

From M. Saylor Billings, writer, producer and director of Phyllis of Fernside comes Townies, a new sketch comedy show about everyday life in Alameda.

Taking a long and not-so-serious look at the mundane and ordinary events that populate the lives of the island's residents, Townies incorporates the legacies of SCTV and Monty Python's Flying Circus to focus our town's collective attention on the little rays of sunshine that should make us smile every day, and perhaps to help us rethink the unarticulated norms which, consciously or not, shape our experience of the world, and the town, we live in.

Wow, That Was Quite a Mouthful!

The bottom line is the show is Funny, and who couldn't use a good laugh or two, or three...or why stop there.
